About
I’m Malte Möller, working freelance as an IT consultant with a focus on software architecture, AI-driven process automation, enterprise architecture, and digitalization for SMEs. I help organizations streamline complex processes, build scalable architectures, and put the potential of AI to practical use.
My focus areas are Business Process Management (BPM) and Intelligent Automation, as well as technical program leadership for complex, cloud-native IT programs — from process discovery through system integration to AI-driven automation.
In IT consulting since 2014, most recently as team lead for BPM and Intelligent Automation, and freelance since August 2026. Education: M.Sc. Technology & Management and B.Sc. Information Technology, both from Provadis Hochschule.

Technical program leadership for a cloud-native program in an enterprise setting, including Kafka. Responsible for architecture decisions, technical steering of multiple teams, and acting as the interface to management.
Digital Lending Platform Architecture
Multi-year architecture consulting and development for a German bank’s digital lending platform in the corporate client segment, including IBM BPM, BPMN, and IBM ODM. Central point of contact for the platform architecture — from interface analysis and onboarding new data sources to migration design and legacy system retirement.
Project Architecture in a PEGA Environment
Project architecture for integrating a central sales workplace at an insurance company, based on PEGA Sales Automation for Insurance. Responsible for requirements capture, target architecture, interface analysis, and migration design.
Central Business Service for Contract Data
Steering and architecture for an initiative at an insurance broker to replace an existing application landscape with a reusable business service offering UI and API capabilities — from source-system analysis and data normalization to the target architecture and its rollout plan.
